We tried Pro-V Restoratives and said bye-bye FRIZZ!

My sister and I both suffer from an ailment we’ve nicknamed “Hyannis Hair”. We call it that because it first appeared ten years ago on a trip to Cape Cod with our two hot boyfriends, Ron and Mike. I don’t know exactly what combination of temperature and humidity causes my ordinarily straight hair to turn into a 70s poodle perm, but it happened BIG TIME that week to the point that no one believed that two badly coiffed sisters could possibly be with such handsome men.
We’ve been looking for a cure ever since and I finally found it in the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives line of frizz control products. The record rainfall and humidity this summer set the conditions for the perfect testing ground.
Since we’re talking about shampoo, conditioner and hairspray, I’ll keep the details brief, but I’ll let you know which products from the line I would and would not buy again.
Here are my reviews for the four Pantene Pro-V Restoratives products I tried:
1. Testing Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Shampoo:
My hair tends to be oily, so I need to shampoo daily. I only had to use one lather because it lathers up quite nicely and rinses out very clean. One thing I didn’t like was the smell because I found it a bit too sweet smelling for my taste.
Did I see any results? My hair felt and looked clean!
Would I buy it? Yes, I would buy it again as part of the entire anti-frizz regime.
Would I replace my current shampoo? I would buy this product again, but only during humid weather.
OVERALL REVIEW: 
2. Testing Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Conditioner: After shampooing, I applied a quarter-sized amount of conditioner and worked it throughout my hair paying special attention to the ends. I left it on for a couple of minutes (two-to-three minutes) and rinsed it out. I still didn’t like the smell because it’s the same sweet scent as the shampoo.
Did I see any results? I liked that my hair felt smooth and not oily.
Would I buy it? Yes, I would just likely buy this product again as part of the entire anti-frizz regime.
Would I replace my current conditioner? Just like the shampoo, I would only buy this product during humid weather.
OVERALL REVIEW: 
3. Testing Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Extra Strength Serum:
This was an easy product to use. I only needed to apply two pumps to my towel-dried hair, and worked it through with my fingers and combed it before blow drying.
Did I see any results?
After blow-drying with a large round brush, my hair was definitely smooth and shiny. My hair felt soft, but not limp or oily. On some days the humidity still put a wave in my hair, but it wasn’t at all frizzy.
Would I buy it? Just like the other products in the Pantene Pro-V line, I would buy it again because I liked the results.
Would I replace my current treatment? Yes, I would buy this product year-round because I normally use a heat protective spray treatment.

4. Testing Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Anti-Humidity Hair Spray:
After styling, I gave my hair an all-over spray with the Humidity Protector spray.
Did I see any results?
I don’t typically use hair spray, because I’m not a fan of that stiff and sticky feeling. This hair spray isn’t so much about the hold as it is about the humidity control. The fact that I didn’t frizz out hours later made me a believer.
On a few occasions I even used a flat iron and my hair turned out great, and stayed that way all day.
Would I buy it? I’d certainly buy this product again!
Would I replace my current hair spray? I liked the Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control Anti-Humidity Hair Spray so much that I would use it instead of other products I’ve used in the past.
