Victoria Beckham’s favourite beauty products

Victoria Beckham just turned 35 (born April 17, 1974) and she’s been in every single fashion magazine there is (or it seems like it).
My take on it is that Victoria is often photographed because everyone is fascinated by how much money she has and therefore how much money she has to spend on incredible couture pieces.
I can no longer count how many different colour Birkin Hermes bags I’ve seen her sport … she seems to have them in every colour and since the starter Birkin (aka least-expensive bag) is about $9,000 USD and these bags go well into the $100,000 range … you know that Victoria Beckham drops a lot on her wardrobe.
I don’t think she appears in all these magazines because she’s beautiful or pretty or even stylish. I think everything about her is so extremely calculated and controlled that nothing really looks natural. Her weight issue is so blatant that it often distracts from what she’s wearing (regardless of the designer on the label or how outrageously expensive the item costs). I sometime wonder if Victoria Beckham’s contrived look is not directly linked to extremely low self-esteem.
One thing I will give Victoria is the fact that after having spent several thousands of dollars a year on maintaining her hair extensions (reportedly up to $40,000 USD per year) that she chopped her hair off and ripped out the extensions and created a frenzy among women when it comes to hairstyles (with her short angular hairstyle) that might not have been seen since Jennifer Aniston’s 90s bob.
Regardless of my opinion on Victoria Beckham, she’s a style icon not because she has style, but because she can “buy style”.
I was cleaning a few magazines and I saw a feature that had appeared in In Style magazine that featured some of Victoria Beckham’s favourite beauty products and I thought it would be great to feature them here since I do know that a lot of women are always interested in knowing which products celebrities are using.
Victoria Beckham’s favourite beauty products:
1) Jane Iredale eye pencil in taupe which mixes with a MAC lipglass (I also discovered a few years ago how incredible an eye pencil can look on the lips.
2) MAC Lipglass in Snowgirl
3) Louis Vuitton pochette compact (I guess Victoria uses this for her makeup, but at $275 US, this might not be in everyone’s reach).
4) Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream (she uses this cream on her lips)
5) Yon-Ka Lait Corps Body Milk (seems like this body cream, at $39, is shared by both Mr. and Mrs. Beckham).
6) La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream (Victoria uses this cream to soften tired eyes, at almost $300 a jar … this is NOT for everyone!!!)
7) Beckham Signature for Her perfume (it’s not surprising that Victoria Beckham would wear her own signature scent!).
#8) Anastasia Brow Pencil to even out Victoria’s brows.

I definitely agree with you on the “Buy Style” thing…. if it weren’t for the weight thing she would be yesterday’s news!

I would look that impeccable if I had her fashion budget.
I agree … if she was not this skinny … she would no longer be news!
