The Lip Scrub by Sara Happ
August 29, 2008 - Follow me on Twitter

My friend Krista gave me this nifty little jar of scrub for the lips. I thought it was the most precious little thing I had ever seen.
The product came in a small little chocolate brown box and the tag line immediately caught my attention: “wonder how you ever lived without it”.
This lip beautifier has been featured in numerous magazine: In Style, People, O Magazine, Everyday, Lush, Vogue, Shape, Bazaar, Elle USA, Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, OK Weekly (twice), Elle Germany, Tatler UK, In Style Germany, In Style Australia, New Woman Australia, London’s Sunday Times, Zink Magazine, The Today Show’s Web site, Gala Germany, New Idea Australia, Petra Germany, M Magazine, E! Online Fashion Police, Your Prom, Life & Style, Harper’s Bazaar UK, Fit Yoga Magazine, Yoga Life, Latina Magazine, Ladies’ Home Journal, The Chicago Tribune, Upscale, Natural Health, Tango Magazine, Lucky Shops, Cosmo Satellite Radio online, Us Airways inFlight, Beauty News L.A. It’s also been featured on the Tyra Banks Show and on a number of beauty blogs.
Now, I know you must be thinking, why in the world is this woman listing so many publications in one post? It’s because I’ve never (NEVER) seen a product that has received so much international press before.
Lip Scrub by Sara Happ is a scrub created to eliminate dry, flaky skin around your lips. I mean if exfoliating your body and your face gives way to younger and smoother skin, would it not make sense to also exfoliate your lips?
This is exactly what prompted Sara Happ to launch her product after she realized the huge gap in the market. Until she launched her product, fashion and beauty magazines were suggesting women use a small toothbrush or wet cloth to do the job.
I’m quite partial to exfoliation because nothing is more appealing to me than soft supple skin. The minute I found out the story behind this creation, I just had to try it.
I’ll admit that my lips were quite soft after trying the Lip Scrub and felt well hydrated. You really don’t need to use a lot a product so the little jar will certainly go a long way. I can see how the Lip Scrub can become a saviour during the winter months when we all suffer from chapped lips.
My friend Krista gave me a lip scrub in “almond crème”, but you can find it in many other flavours: cocoa, cinnamon sugar, brown sugar, vanilla bean and peppermint.
There are now many other lip scrubs on the market, but the Lip Scrub was the very first lip scrub on the market and really set the tone for all the other products that followed.
The Lip Scrub is now available in over 250 luxury boutiques throughout the United States and Canada, and is distributed in over 20 countries (including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Germany).
