Yes, ladies you’ve read those words correctly! This is not a joke. It’s official … women over 35 who have had babies and who have bodies that look a bit different than the body they had when they were 18 can rejoice at the idea of strolling down the beach in stylish and sexy swimwear.
A few weeks ago, I was at H & M and made my way to their swimwear area. When I got there I stood and simply stared at the wall trying to figure out how in the world anyone is supposed to wear those tops that were so small (and offered no support).
Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t have ample breasts, but still I simply refuse to wear mini-swimsuits that give up all my goodies (aka they are extremely revealing). I know, you’re going to ask me what was I thinking of looking for a swimsuit at H & M. Well, the alternatives up to now have been these matronly one piece swimsuits with grandma-like prints … don’t even get me started on the colour selections.
During my interview with Canadian ex-supermodel Monika Schnarre she shared with me a new fashion secret — a swimsuit collection targeted at women over 35 (as you know I’m THE advocate of style after 35!).

When I say sexy … I mean stylish and flattering swimwear that fits well AND that’s affordable.
The best part about this new collection from Sea Queen is the bra!
They’ve created the perfect swimsuit bra that fits size A, B and C perfectly. Since none of us gals are immune to gravity and if you add childbirth to the picture … oy vey (Yiddish for “Oh my gosh”) … things can start going south as we add candles to our birthday cake.
We all know that shy of getting a breast augmentation, a girl’s (real) best friend is a push-up bra!
Gone are the days of bad swimwear bras that were unflattering and uncomfortable … these new bras are constructed with a proprietary SwimTech ContourLift Bra. This might not be the easiest thing to say, but what you need to know if that Sea Queen designed a bra that gives you a gorgeous and natural neck line on the beach.
But I’m not done … now only are we talking about great beach cleavage, we’re also talking about a bra that does NOT retain water like the padded cups found in other swimsuits. You end up with great cleavage even after a long swim!

I completely agree that Sea Queen Swimwear is perfect for all women, under OR over 35. I recently tried on the Sea Queen “Odessa” tankini and it had unbelievable fit and support on top. In addition, the retro-glam style made it very unique. Now I am desperately trying to find one in my size, as the one I tried on was 1 size too small and was the last one in the store! I am definitely a fan!
