This is going to be a quick post on a product I just found out about. Since you can only get it in the U.K., not everyone will be able to get their hands on it, but I thought I’d still highlight it.
Dr Marko Lens is a plastic surgeon and skin cancer specialist with a practice on Harley Street in London who has seen his share of sun-damaged skin. It’s little wonder that he decided to create a face cream to protect the skin against the harmful effect of the sun and pollution.
Dr. Lens’ formula, playfully named Zelens, contains one secret ingredient called C60. This is a powerful antioxidant. From what I understand C60 is a molecule that won a Nobel Prize and that is now being used by Dr. Lens in this super-high-tech formulation.
The formula seems to be so powerful that Zelens Skin Science claims that their face creams can neutralize free radicals 100 times more effectively than vitamin E and that their night cream stimulates the cells that produce collagen.
Dr. Marko Lens’ Zelens face cream is not yet available in Canada or in the U.S., but you will find it online at Zelens.co.uk or at Spacenk.co.uk. Since the cream is already quite pricey at £95 or $263 (night cream costs $292 and the under eye cream costs $185) and adding shipping on top of that would bring the price to well over $300 … it might be best to grab your jar of Zelens during your next trip to London.

Cancer is very scary. Skin cancer is something people overlook, especially our hands. We really also need to protect our hands form the sun. Thank you so very much for adding to our feature. You are sooooooo right, it’s as important to protect our hands from the damaging effects of the sun as well.
The fact that excessive sun can cause wrinkles is bad enough, but the whole idea that the love of sun can kill you is just scary to me.
Skin cancer is a serious matter that a lot of women downplay.
