The “Sex and the City” movie fever is not about to settle down any time soon and a few weeks ago I heard on “Extra TV” that there was talk of a sequel to the mega successful summer chick-flick. I cannot wait to see how the producers can top that kind of fashion and accessories bonanza.

During the London premiere of the “Sex and the City” movie, the guests were treated to SIP: the original skin drink.

If you’ve not yet heard of SIP, you will soon. This is the new way of drinking flavoured water. I know, I know, flavoured water is not news, but most of the brands on the market have that bad artificial aftertaste. I’ve tried many of them, but have never found any to quest my thirst.

SIP is the original “skin” drink! This British-made natural flavoured water, comes in four flavours – Elderflower, Mango, Ruby Orange and Lemongrass and Ginger. SIP contains 100 per cent natural ingredients and NO artificial sweeteners. SIP also contains antioxidants (which are good for your skin and your body) and botanical properties like white tea tincture, sweet violet, calendula extract, linden blossom extract, Scottish heather blossom extract and extracts of rose petal. And you even get 100 per cent of your daily recommended serving of vitamin C in every bottle!

You must be wondering why I would talk about a flavoured water drink on a beauty site. Well, one of the easiest and cheapest beauty secrets on the planet is to drink more water!

Now that the thermostat is rising and the sun is out for 14-15 hours per day, you want to keep hydrated and that means drinking more water. I know a lot of people find the taste of water to be quite bland and that’s why I find SIP to be a great alternative for those who are just not turned by the taste of regular water.

You cannot find SIP in North America just yet, but if you are heading to London on vacation, you might want to stop by Waitrose, EAT, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, WholeFood Market or Daylesford Organic to try a bottle (£1.70 for a 500ml bottle). Since SIP is sold at Whole Foods Market, I’m hopeful that it will come to the U.S. and Canada because after tasting SIP, I‘d love to be able to get my hands on the other flavours!
