So it’s reported that Rob Lowe turned down the role of Dr. McDreamy (now played by Patrick Dempsey) on “Grey’s Anatomy”, but I’m sure happy he said yes to playing the sexy and debonair congressman on my favourite Sunday night show: “Brothers and Sisters”.

Now that the writers’ strike is over, I hope I’ll be seeing more of Rob Lowe on the small screen again.

It’s really hard to say that Rob Lowe looks better now that he did 20 years ago because Rob Lowe is one of those people who must have looked good as a fetus. I don’t thing he’s even had any of those awkward years most of us have to deal with growing up.

Yup, Rob Lowe has always simply been a gorgeous guy. The difference now is that instead of just being pretty, he’s darn right dashingly sexy at 45 (he was born in 1964).

Yes, I could go into Rob Lowe debuts in the 80s, but I personally think that his latest two major roles are far more interesting and far more worthy of some ink.

Rob Lowe’s most memorable roles are undoubtedly his portrayal of Sam Seaborn in the television series “The West Wing” from 1999 to 2003, which earned him an Emmy and two Golden Globe Award Nominations for Best Actor in a Drama Series. The second role that makes Rob Lowe memorable is his role as Senator Robert McCallister in “Brothers and Sisters”.

Rob Lowe is my Celebrity Beauty Pick because he’s shown us all that he is much more than a pretty face. I also picked Rob Lowe because he’s certainly proven that a comeback in your career is possible at any age. In my opinion Lowe is a very talented actor who just happens to be drop dead gorgeous.
