Revlon Lash Fantasy Total Definition to extend your lashes

Here we go. Yet another eyelash item on our hands, but from Revlon this time. Could this be Revlon’s answer to Maybelline’s XXL Extreme mascara?

Let’s do a quick comparison shall we?

First up Revlon’s Lash Fantasy Total Definition: It comes in three different colours, blackened black, blackest brown and black. The mascara also claims to give you thick and longer (up to 70 per cent longer) lashes without any clumps. The colour will last you a complete day without any smudges or flakes. However, there is the possibility that this mascara will clump up on you. You’ll find this at $8.99 USD/$9.99 CAD.

Maybelline’s XXL Extensions^TM XX-treme Length Microfiber Mascara: This one claims to lengthen your lashes a bit longer than Revlon’s (up to 85 per cent longer) and is okay to use if you wear contacts. It comes in two colours, black and brown. It’s also supposed to straighten out your lashes. This costs $7.99 USD/$10.99 CAD.

From the two descriptions I find that Revlon’s new mascara seems to offer a little bit more in terms of having a long lasting mascara which is usually something that I look for in a mascara. But if you want one that lengthens your eyelashes then I would go with Maybelline’s. And if you’re looking for something a little more affordable then you might want to go with the Maybelline mascara as well.
