Remember that when it comes to aging well, Food Matters!

This new DVD will become “The Secret” of nutrition (mark my words)! If you’ve not yet heard of “Food Matters“, it won’t take long for this to become a phenomenon. I cannot wait to see how long it takes before Oprah features this revolution on her show.
“Food Matters” will shock a number of people and it will anger others. The DVD is an in-depth analysis of what’s wrong with our food and why so many people are so incredibly overweight.
Now, it was so easy to say in the past that this the problem of obesity is an American “thing”, but the numbers (or waist lines) don’t lie and now countries such as Canada, Germany, Finland, Japan, England, Ireland , Scotland, Italy and EVEN France are dealing with more and more people who are totally disconnected from “real food”. A recent study shows that among France’s population of 63 million, 19.8 million are overweight and 5.9 million of those are clinically obese. For so many years, France could look smugly at Americans, but they no longer can do that because fast foods, junk foods and empty calories are a worldwide epidemic. When it comes to overweight Europeans, no other country tips the scale quite like Greece … where 70 per cent of the population is overweight (a freakily staggering number in my opinion) and 30 per cent are obese!!!
I can only ask why? It’s so clear that we’ve all forgotten how to eat and why we eat.
“Food Matters” will shake you to the core and you can either be inspired and motivated by the movie to change the way you eat or you can ignore the message (plain and simple).
In my experience as a beauty and aging-well expert, there aren’t enough skincare products on the market or Botox Cosmetic® to help you retain your youthfulness if you eat fast food and junk food day-in day-out.
There is a quote in the movie that’s quite sarcastic, but so powerful: “¼ of what you eat keeps you alive and ¼ of what you eat keeps your doctor alive” (yikes … that’s not saying much of the medical industry).
There’s no mistaking the message in Food Matters:
* Eat organic foods (if you can afford it – I cannot always afford it, but I do eat raw foods)
* Eat raw foods (if I go on 48 hours without eating raw foods my body goes nuts)
*Add super foods to your diet (super foods will become your best friends as you age)
In the end, “you are what you eat” and it’s your choice to be healthy or to be sick … to look youthful or to look run down.
I’d say that thousands of centuries later, Hippocrates’ quote is still very accurate and one we can no longer choose to ignore:
“Let food be your medicine, let medicine be your food”
- Hippocrates, Greek philosopher, born 460 BC.
The “Food Matters“ DVD is only $29.95 and you can view the video online for only $4.95 and it’s a small price to pay to have a nutritional coach at home taking your hand and guiding you in your food choices.
As I’ve posted a few days ago, I will focus more heavily on super foods and help readers create a beauty diet that will keep your skin glowing and your body in tip-top shape. There are a lot of really great things coming down the pike in terms of nutrition and I hope you’ll want to partake in this aging-well journey.
If you are interested in learning more about Food Matters or if you want to buy the DVD, you can simply visit: “Food Matters“.
You can watch a short video to learn more about how important the food you eat is to your long term health: Food Matters.

Whoa, that was a really compelling trailer for Food Matters…. reminds me of Supersize Me. We all know it so why do we continue to poison ourselves? My goodness.

Thank you Aimee for your comment.
You raise a very good point … most people are fully aware of the reason why they are obese or overweight … yet they keep eating junk foods, fast foods and heavily saturated foods.
In essence you state is correctly when you said: “why to we continue to poison ourselves”?
I believe Food Matters will become a very important video.
You should keep reading, as we’ll be focusing heavily on nutrition to help readers make better food choices that will help them age better.

This is a great reminder that true beauty starts on the inside. With all of the emphasis on cosmetics and other products, it is easy to forget that often the most important beauty accessory is a glass of good, clean water!
