Redken products help you maintain perfect summer hair

During the summer, you’ll have to deal with high levels of humidity that will either leave your hair frizzy or flat. Everyone loves summer, but no one wants to deal with unruly hair.
I have to say that until 2007, I had not tried too many Redken products at all. I discovered their Smooth Down Butter Treat when a sales person at Trade Secrets (a hair product shop located here) revealed that it was the most moisturizing product they had in the store.
At the time, they were sold out, but I did make the rounds to other stores in order to secure my tube. It took one treatment for me to discover how incredible this product was (thanks to the macadamia nut oil) and ever since I’ve been fairly partial to Redken products.
When it comes to dealing with summer hair, a product like Smooth Down Butter Treat might be too heavy even for crazy hair like mine, so it’s a question of looking at the other products in the Redken line that will help you have perfect summer hair.
- Taming frizz:
I had read not long ago about Redken’s All Soft Gold Glimmer Shine Treatment. When it comes to getting your hair into a manageable ponytail on super-hot days, it’s important to remember that healthy hair is equally important when you pull your hair back. Redken’s All Soft Gold Glimmer Shine Treatment is chock full of frizz-control-hair-softening ingredients like avocado and olive oil … and just like the name says, it has actual gold sparkles in it! Shimmering Defense Daily Care Protective Lotion UV Rescue: This daily protector was such a great product at protecting your hair if you had to spend time in the sun. I say “was” because I just found out that Redken will be discontinuing it. I’m sure you can still find many tubes here and there, but if you are out of luck, you might want to try their replacement product — Color Extend Rich Defender.
Color Extend Rich Defender: If you have coloured hair, then you surely don’t want to step out in the sun without protection or else it really will be like throwing good money in the waste bin. In order to prolong the beauty and shine of your colour, you’ll need to protect it against the harmful UV rays of the sun. This is surely a protective treatment that provides deep conditioning to leave your hair treated, manageable and vibrant.
4. Treating your hair without weighting it down:
Silk Fuel: With summer comes more time spent outdoors and more time spent in the water … that also means dryer and more brittle hair.
