Pierce Brosnan: Fifty-something and still as sexy as ever

At 29, it was truly easy for Pierce Brosnan to look dashing and ever so sexy in the ‘Remington Steele’ series where he played a smooth-talking front man for a female private investigator. I mean really, Pierce had to be one of the 1980s’ most enjoyable eye-candy. To do a comeback in your forties and dominate the silver screen as the sexiest action hero… now that’s talent.
Pierce Brosnan, a native of Drogheda, Ireland, become a film icon by delivering the wittiest portrayal of the British spy agent James Bond (from 1995-2002). His seductive good looks and his endless “flirty-ness” won him a large legion of female fans who would gladly give up their most prized pair of designer heels for a chance to be a Bond girl (sue me for dreaming). He certainly sealed his status as the most desired Irishman when he starred and produced “The Thomas Crown Affair” (a flick that I’ve seen so many times, I could recite many lines by heart).
Today, Pierce (born Pierce Brendan Brosnan in 1953) is putting his good looks (in his fifties) to work as a model for the house of Aquascutum. No doubt the sales of that British designer must have skyrocketed…makes you want to run out and buy a raincoat, doesn’t it?
Pierce Brosnan is my Celebrity Beauty Match Pick because the man is simply delectable in his fifties and he makes a tux look like the sexiest piece of clothing on the planet.
Note: we’ll all have the immense pleasure of seeing Pierce in his role as the successful and playful mega-rich business man in the sequel to Thomas Crown Affair which is reportedly to be called “The Topkapi Affair”. Needless to say, I’ll be the first in line!

Oh how I absolutely agree with you.
He is the man of my dreams, not just because of his wonderful looks but also because he comes across as a good and decent person. A wonderful husband and father.
I may beat you to be first in line this summer for Mamma Mia!
