When did Olivia Newton John turn 60?

No but seriously, am I the only one who didn’t realize that Olivia Newton John turned 60 on September 26, 2008? We’re talking about the star of “Grease” and that “Let’s Get Physical” video?

Wow! I couldn’t believe it for a number of reasons. A few years ago Olivia Newton John fought and won her battle against breast cancer in the 1990s and we’ve seen her many times since then and she’s always in my opinion looked beautiful and ageless. It’s only the other day while surfing through the pages of my favourite British online newspaper (Daily Mail) that I took note of how many candles Olivia had recently put on her birthday cake! Daily Mail was doing a feature on Olivia because she had returned to her birth place of Cambridge (U.K.)

I guess, I shouldn’t be too surprised that Olivia defies time since when she was casted to play the 17-year old lead Sandy Olsen in Grease, she was actually almost twice that age … she was in fact 30!

There no two ways about it, Olivia Newton John is my Celebrity Beauty Mach Pick because she makes being over sixty look really darn good!

Here’s a flashback to grease – I must have seen that movie five million times on TV and I still LOVE it. I think John Travolta was at his absolute best … he was sooooooooooooo sexy in that film.
