The key ingredient that seems that be delivering great benefits is called ‘corallina extract’ which is a mineral-rich red alga derived from hydrothermal ocean vents that seems to be quite effective at protecting the skin against environmental damage and free radicals.

Kiehl’s anti-aging Abyssine Cream also contains ginkgo, vitamin C and E. When these antioxidants are combined to the corallina extract, you get a cream that thickens your skin and help reinforce the moisture barrier function of the skin.
