I just discovered a new way of including pomegranate in your diet!

With all this talk about antioxidants … I decided to put pomegranate juice to the test. Since I quite enjoy smoothies … I thought of combining the two and create a power-packed breakfast smoothie.
I used the single serving of Food and Wine magazine’s Pomegranate and Banana smoothie and I added some protein powder to the mix.
It was quite delicious and the protein kept me full until lunchtime.
You’ll see below how beautiful the colour of the smoothie becomes thanks to the dark red colour of the pomegranate juice.
