It is made by Farouk which is the same maker of the Chi. This Iron works excellent. I have had four Chi's which I have loved except after about a year they go out on me and stop working. However, I have now had the Bio-Silk flat Iron for about 2yrs now and it only costed my like 69.99 online. It works just as good.
