Happy, healthy and sexy 2008 … at any age!

*** Embrace the NEW year ***
There’s nothing quite like the beginning of a new year. There’s something about changing the calendar that fills all of us with so much hope and ignites dreams for a new adventurous year. It really seems like the possibilities are endless to turn around our lives and reach certain goals that have been dormant for a while.
As I like to say: life something gets in the way of our goals. January is the perfect time of the year to really take the necessary steps to make this new year as fulfilling as possible.
For 2008, I’ve already decided that I want to reduce the amount of hours I work in one week. I’ve been burning the candle at both ends in the past five months, and I need to make some serious changes. By considerably cutting back on my sleep time and “me” time, I’ve basically gotten to a point where I just simply had no zest for a lot of the things I had to do.
A few months ago, I attended an event and a contact of mine, who happens to be a top publicist who also sleeps much less than she should, asked me what I was doing for the holidays. I responded: I’m sleeping! I was certain, she would look at me in a strange way, but instead, she said: that’s exactly what I intend to do because I’m exhausted and I cannot remember the last time I had a good night’s sleep.
For 2008, I’m cutting back on my list of things to do, I’ll delegate more and I will be sleeping more. I’ve decided that I will claim back my “me time”!
