Launched with a lot of fanfare and press earlier this year, the new Olay Pro-X line was something I wanted to get my hands on for a few months.
Olay does make some very good products. They do a lot of research and testing before determining whether or not a new product is ready for the world.
This new Pro-X line was introduced in sexy, deep red packaging. It looks quite different from other Olay products on the drugstore shelf, such as the Regenerist and Definity lines.
Pro-X also is priced higher than other Olay products, but still falls within drugstore pricing levels as opposed to luxury brands. I’m a big fan of popular-priced products that work.
My testing experience for the purposes of this review is limited to the anti-aging starter protocol kit which consists of 3 products and retails for $61.95 USD/$89.95 CAD

Bioelements Oxygen Skincare Line

As many of you may know, making sure your skin breathes is important but sometimes difficult because make-up can act as a barrier between oxygen and your skin.
Here’s an interesting line that not only claims to allow your skin access to oxygen but it also includes oxygen-rich elements in its products. The line is by Bioelements and their two products are Bioelements Oxygen Cocktail and Bioelements Oxygenation.
Let’s take a closer look at these two:
1) This Oxygen Cocktail is used to enhance your skin’s smoothness and decrease the appearance of young lines and wrinkles. This is best used right after you have washed your face. It prevents many premature signs of aging like low elasticity, dryness and dehydration. Best part, you don’t have to use a lot of this to get it working. Just a small amount is great. This 1 oz tube (28.35 grams) of cocktail will cost you $39 USD.

REVIEW: Dr. Michelle Copeland Rewind Advanced Wrinkle Defense

Dr. Michelle Copeland, a New York plastic surgeon seems to have developed quite a cult following for her non-surgical anti-aging products, not the least of which is this wrinkle defence serum. I was looking forward to giving a try as soon as possible.
The little white tube full of clear gel promised to help diminish the appearance of troublesome lines and wrinkles — in minutes and without injections, so I just had to check it out for myself.

I really believe in using a different cream in the day than you do at night because our needs are different depending on what time of day it is.

Olay is launching 8 new anti-aging skincare products
A few weeks ago, I was invited to a great afternoon among other beauty editors and beauty bloggers over lunch to talk about Olay’s new product launches!
The afternoon was made ever more enjoyable by the fact that we all met at the Jamie Kennedy restaurant located in the newly renovated Gardiner Museum.
International readers, if you do visit Toronto, you’ll want to make a stop at the Jamie Kennedy restaurant for lunch because the food is super delicious and the setting is so sleek. They have a patio that makes people watching a national sport. Trust me … you won’t be disappointed.
Obviously this afternoon wasn’t all about great food, we also had to talk about anti-aging skincare.

Lancôme launches its triple Action Anti-Wrinkle Cream

My mom would love this. She is SUCH a Lancôme fan. I remember my first set of eye shadow and mascara was from the bonus pack my mom got when she came home with a bunch of eye cream from Lancôme.
She is still extremely loyal to Lancôme and she is always on the lookout for their latest anti-wrinkle cream. I honestly never see her use anything else, especially when it comes to anti-aging skin products. It’s been out a couple of months now but it’s still worth knowing about if you haven’t heard of it yet.

Perfect 10 by Nice ‘n Easy perfects the summer blonde!

So does summer mean more blondes?
I’m not the biggest fan of Asians dying their hair blonde but if they have a nice tanned skin complexion then it usually works well. I wouldn’t do it myself because of my very fair complexion and the fact that I have no desire to dye my hair but if those of you like to get the summer going with a lighter set of locks you might want to try Nice ‘n Easy’s Perfect 10.
