I think we’ve all done it once: look admiringly at the face of our favourite female Hollywood celebs and hope that we either had “that” nose or “those” cheekbones or “that mouth”. I’ve spoken to so many cosmetic surgeons who have said that clients routinely show up at their office with a photo of a Hollywood celeb in the hopes of looking that perfect.
The same happens when we go running to our hair stylist with Katie Holmes’ new bob or Jennifer Aniston’s new shade of highlights or even Jennifer Lopez’s new updo!
The problem is that we often forget that the reason why Angelina’s lips look good on her is because they work with her face structure and Katie Holmes’ bob rocks because of the angle of her face. When you transpose features … it doesn’t always look good because features are meant to work as an overall … so if you “move” Angelina Jolie’s lips onto your face … it won’t look as good … something will be wrong.
Review: We tried Reversa Antioxidant Booster Serum and we actually really liked it a lot!
A few weeks ago I had featured great new videos I had caught on YouTube about sexy men and and anti-aging serum called Reversa.
I hope you were able to watch those videos, because they are truly worth it!
You can still catch the original post here: WARNING: It’s raining sexy men: Have you seen these hilarious ads from Reversa?
This is a rare occasion for my readers because not only did I tested and tried the Reversa serum, but Eleni and Daphne, my product reviewers were also able to review the product and you can see how all three of us liked the product! You’ll also be able to see how each of us rate the product!
1) Krizia’s review of Reversa
I really had never heard of Reversa before watching those videos so I really had no clue what to expect.
Is Kosmea’s ‘Eight Natural Wonder’ really a natural Botox formula?
Botox® is one of the most commonly performed non-surgical anti-aging cosmetic procedures in Canada. The age range varies from people in their 20s to those in their 60s and 70s. Although women were the first to adopt Botox, more and more men are now gladly lining up in front of their cosmetic doctor’s office to freeze away frown lines.
That said, I thought it would be interesting to see how readers would react when I feature a new product that is dubbed “the natural Botox”.
I recently attended the launch for Kosmea, a “clean” skincare line from Australia that was launched more than a decade ago by Marie Jenkins, an unemployed-stay-at-home-mom, who discovered the anti-aging virtues of rosehip oil.
During the presentation, Marie featured her “Eight Natural Wonder” Revitalising Facial Serum, which contains organic rose hip oil and hibiscus extract as the “natural Botox”.
Now to be fair, there is nothing on the market that resembles Botox. Botox is Botox and most of the other products on the market that claim to be “better than Botox” are really playing off of the success of the brand.
That said, if you don’t want to use Botox but you are looking for a way to rejuvenate your skin naturally, “Eight Natural Wonder” might be the solution you’ve been looking for.

I tested Clé de Peau Beauté Spot Anti-Age Spot Serum for my acne scars
This will be a bit of a strange review because I tested Cle de Peau Anti-Age Spot Serum on my acne scars. I thought that because both acne scars and age-spots (due to sun exposure) are hyperpigmentation marks, it would be interesting to see if the product could actually work on my scars.
First, I should talk a bit about the brand. Clé de Peau Beauté is an exclusive line from France. Everything from the research to the choice of ingredients is always done to offer the highest quality product to the consumer. Of course, this type of standard does come at a price, therefore, you’ll notice that Clé de Peau Beauté might be a bit more expensive than other brands and you’ll also find that it’s often sold at luxury spas or high end beauty boutiques.
The Clé de Peau Beauté Anti-Age Spot Serum was designed to diminish the appearance of age spots and promote smooth and even skin.

The Argan Oil from Morocco is changing skincare!

Moroccan women have held a well-guarded beauty secret to aging well and it’s now finally available to the rest of us! In Morocco, argan oil is considered “liquid gold” because it’s incredible at preserving the skin’s youthfulness.
What’s the secret behind argan oil?
I’ll be honest, argan oil is a novelty for myself as much as it is for most of my readers. I first found out about it way back in May, but I really couldn’t figure out “why” this product was worth featuring until I decided to feature Aveda’s new Green Science Skincare line and discovered that it contained the powerful argan oil.

WARNING: It’s raining sexy men: Have you seen these hilarious ads from Reversa?
A friend of mine insisted that I take a look at these videos because she said that the humour was so sleek … I’d really enjoy the double (and triple) entendres.
The videos are really funny and they remind me of the Visa: “If life was that simple … you wouldn’t need Visa” ads (where your monthly balance is always zero regardless of how much you spend) … hey … you can’t blame a girl for dreaming!
1) Policeman and latte

Melasma is a common skincare problem among pregnant darker skin beauties

Did you know that melasma is also called the “pregnancy mask”?
Since more and more women are waiting to have children later in life, there are more and more women in their 30s and 40s who have to deal with this skin condition.
Melasma will affect women of all ethnic background, but women with darker complexions (aka blacks, Latinas, East Asians and darker tone Asians) will be the most affected.
