Women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s are big consumers of tanning salons

It’s easy to think that only teens and young adult visit tanning booths, but nothing can be further from the truth.

There is a woman at my gym who is at least 65 (but she looks 95) and since I’ve known her she’s been either using tanning booths or taking in copious amounts of sunlight during the summer months. On some occasions, I’ve noticed that her skin was almost as dark as mine. She’s tanned 24/7, 365 days a year (period).

There is an interesting American health survey that was published not long ago, that actually confirms women over 35 remain hard core tanning salon users.
