There’s nothing better than having a good hair day. A good hair day allows you to walk around with confidence. It puts you in a happy mood and that affects those around you in a positive way too. A good hair day makes you feel like the possibilities are endless. You can do anything you want on a good hair day.
Part of everyone’s good hair day regime should include a terrific hair spray. I got to test one this past week. Re:nu’s Styling & Finishing Spray is a brushable, no-flake hairspray that provides lightweight adjustable, flexible hold while imparting shine, humidity-resistance and superior body and movement.

Brooke Shields’ favourite beauty products

If you’ve been reading my site for a while, then you know how devastated I was to find out that NBC had cancelled one of my all time favourite shows: “Lipstick Jungle.”
I mean it was a real fashion haven and I thought that all three leading actresses always looked so well put together. Candace Bushnell’s story about three best friends (played by Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price) who were at the top of their careers in New York City and looking damn good doing so was short lived, but the couture, bling (aka amazing jewellery), shoes and Kirby (young boy toy who is Kim Raver’s character Nico’s love interest in “Lipstick Jungle”) will linger forever in the mind of fans like myself.

Have you discovered Blown Away and Iron Silk by Redken?

Feature by our Editorial Assistant Colleen
Humidity is just around the corner. I’m sure you can feel it seeking up upon us now that spring has finally come. And that means terrible things for our hair. It’s hard enough keeping your hair the way you want it when the temperature isn’t a factor, but it’s something we’re going to have to deal with. Soon.
Redken is trying to eliminate that anxiety that happens when humidity becomes a problem with their latest products, Blown Away and Iron Silk.

Have you seen these travel-size flat irons?

Feature by our Editorial Assistant Colleen
I was pretty excited when I heard about the travel-sized flat irons from Linea Pro (an indie company from London).
The Linea Pro Travel Mini Flat Iron collection is super cute and extremely easy to fit into your bag. It’s been out since November but it’s a good time to have it now when you’re getting ready for summer vacations.

Review: FHI Hair Dryer for damage-free blow dried hair all year round!
It’s that time of the year again where you just don’t want to spend one minute indoors because you want to soak in as much of the summer (with plenty of SPF protection) as you possibly can.
With summer comes another problem: humidity! Nothing screams a bad hair day (in my world anyways) like a high humidity index.

HairZing versus EZ Combs

I tried both products: HairZing and Ex Combs.
I know that a lot of readers will wonder what’s the main difference between the two hair accessories.
Well in appearance there is not much difference. I like wearing both products, but I’ve broken things down from the point of view of a buyer.
There are a few slight differences between HairZing and EZ Combs and I’ll highlight them here:
1) When it comes to wearing each product, I’d say that the HairZings were more comfortable because the length of the teeth of each comb is a bit longer and if you have longer and thicker hair this is a huge plus. If my hair is wet or damp, then I have no problems with the EZ Combs. If my hair is fully dry, it’s a bit more of a challenge for me, but I do have a lot of hair.
