I want to be a “life buddy” with my daughter. Parenting books said parents need to set boundaries and stuff, but I found being buddies helps us bond and share lots of things in life. Now she’s only 5, so I’m preparing myself for her teenage stage.
I want to be a better me – taking care of myself better, so that I can take care of my daughter better
I will spend smart, so we could get through this rough time a little easier
Anh, Halifax.

Halifax,
Thanks for your comment. I just want to let other readers know that Halifax did a good job with her 3 statements.
They really don’t have to be all that long or complicated, but it’s just a bit more interesting than simply all of you writing ‘why’ you want to win shampoo or makeup products.
I’m happy to see that Halifax did this in an easy manner so know I now that it will be a good example for other readers and for the other 21 gift packs to come!
Since most of these gift packs are expensive … I’m asking my readers to do a little extra work

I love cover girl, basically I grew up with it,I and my 6 sisters. Make up didn’t last long with 7 girls in the house. It was nice to get older and have it totally to your self.

I love Covergirl, they have the best new innovations! I’ve been wanting to try those products too, the new foundation would be perfect for my dry skin.

I am really glad to see someone like Ellen Degeneris backup the new product by Cover Girl, “simply ageless foundation” because she doesnt wear much makeup to begin with, but her skin looks amazing when she talks about this makeup foundation! I am 46 and starting to see more of the “aging” signs, and think that tese products will help my skin look more youthful.

I would love to win this. My life is so hectic raising 2 daughters, baby sitting a grandson, and taking care of 2 nephews and a niece full time. The only me time that I have is when I’m getting ready for the day. Putting on my make up makes me feel good about myself. If I am going to face a busy day, atleast I can do it with a pretty face.

Good Luck to Everyone

Hi there!
I’m the daughter of a Marine who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. My family lives in Okinawa, Japan and let me tell you, it is SO hard to find good make-up! My fiance also happens to be a Marine and is currently serving in Iraq. I love living overseas, but I definitely miss getting good products from the states. It’s hard to find good products when everything is Japanese! haha. I’ve recently been watching videos on Youtube about how to do make-up and things like that and have become very interested. Having some good Covergirl Make-up would help me be able to practice. I want to look beautiful for my Fiance when he comes home. I appreciate the time you are taking to do this!
Have a great day!
Erica
(p.s We have a regular American shipping address, It does not cost any more to ship over here, since it’s to a Military Base.)

Hi! I came across this site as I was just browsing around and boy could I use some of these products. I am permanently disabled due to Multiple Sclerosis and even though it’s hard for me to get out of the house, I still like to take care of myself and that includes looking pretty. My husband is a wonderful man and is really my caregiver, even though he has a job. He is always available when I have to go to an important Dr. Appt. He is my rock and I want to look nice for him. That is why I would love to receive these products. Best Regards, Julie Flores

I would like you to choose me so i can prove to my finacee that make-up works to cover your boo-boos up, without cacking your face with the foundation. he wont let me buy make-up. HELP me what kind of girl dont wear make-up.

I kind of put my heart and soul into prize # 9, since that I think is 100% perfect for me, but this one would definitely work too, but I didn’t want to just copy in paste. Due to the reasons expressed in #9, I could really use some new makeup to cover up the lines I swear appeared over night around my eyes and mouth (definitely frowning too much). I think the colors are really pretty, and CoverGirl makes great stuff, so I’m sure It’d all work great.

It was interesting how during the depression all the women wore red lipstick. Now we are wearing all kinds of colors and can be whoever we want to me even in these touch economical times. Some days we feel cutsy, other days we feel sophisticated, some days bold and some days shy. It’s fun playing with make up kits such as Cover Girl and helps us in playing our many roles of womanhood.

I was never a girly girl to begin with. I was more of the sporty girl. It would be nice to have some makeup to play with before I buy them, especially eyeshadow. I’ve never wore eyeshadow before so I would like to give it a try.

I have tried so many types of make-up that doesn’t feel think or wear off my face to leave a streaky look. Cover girl is amazing, not only is it not thick, but it stays on all day AND i never have a problem findign a cover to match my skin. I LOVE the eyes colors this year, every time i go into shoppers drug mat I feel the need to buy one! The whole line is great for everyone!
