I know you are thinking: breast surgery! In might be an easy explanation why cup sizes are getting bigger and bigger in Britain, but there is another string of explanations that are also affecting a great number of North American women.
As quoted in the article: “…the reasons why our breasts are getting bigger are complex and range from obesity to hormones, and alcohol to environmental factors.”
The article goes on talking quite a bit about the evolution of women and how the estrogen levels in their bodies are effected by so many environmental issues and by the fact that most women are having far fewer kids than ever before in the history of mankind.
This article appeared a few months ago on the Daily Mail’s Femail web page, but it’s well worth the read: Why the British woman’s cleavage has gone from 34B to 36C in a decade.
