Boots from the U.K. is still very popular in Canada and the US
Once it was reported that Boots’ ‘Nº7 Protect & Perfect’ was actually proven to deliver results, British women were racing to their nearest Boots store and buying as many tubes as they could get their hands on and the product was sold out in every Boots in less than 24 hours following the BBC2 report.
The reason for all this frenzy might be related to a statement that can be found on Boots Web site: “Manchester University along with eminent dermatologist Professor Chris Griffiths carried out independent research on ‘Nº7 Protect & Perfect’ Beauty Serum and scientifically proved that it repairs photo-aged skin and improves the fine wrinkles associated with photo-ageing”.
Boots products have been sold in Canada for about one year now and for the longest time Shoppers Drug Mart could NOT keep the product on the selves. A lot of Canadian women had heard of the BBC2 report through friends from the U.K. and it was simply impossible to keep the product on the shelves.
The mad frenzy has died down a bit, but Boots’ Nº7 Protect & Perfect remains a very popular product because it’s one of the most affordable anti-aging serums on the market at only $28 CAD/$21.99 USD and when you add the fact that it’s been tested to provide results by an independent body … it’s no wonder that Shoppers Drug Mart (in Canada) and CVS Pharmacy and Target (in the US) can barely keep the product on the shelves.
Lately, Shoppers Drug Mart has been distributing Boots’ Nº7 Restore & Renew for younger skin. The 30 ml tube retails for $28 CAD/$24.99 USD. Women over 40 will want to stick to the more intensive formula found in the Nº7 Protect & Perfect.
You can also pick up Boots’ Botanics Moisturising Eye Cream which has also been quite popular since it was launched on the market. You can use Boots Botanics Moisturising Eye Cream during the day as a way to keep the skin around your eyes well hydrated and you can also use it at night as way of diminishing swollen and puffy eyes in the morning (the 25 ml jar retails for $22 CAD/ $13.99 USD).
All Boots products are at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and at CVS Pharmacy and Target (Tarjay as Canadians call it) in the US. I’m not sure if or where it’s sold in Europe, but if you are heading to the U.K., you’ll be sure to find it at any Boots Pharmacy!
