Along with writing on a weekly basis for Beauty Match, Yahoo! Beauty Redefined, and SeenON.com, I’ll also start writing a couple times per month for DefineYourself.ca!
My posts on DefineYourself.ca will focus on a lot of unspoken taboos when it comes to aging and I cannot wait to explore them and share them with you.
DefineYourself.ca, sponsored by Medicis Aesthetics Canada, is an online destination where everyday female baby boomers explore how they feel about aging.
I was immediately attracted to this concept because there is so much misconception when it comes to cosmetic enhancement and the truth is that some women will need a little cosmetic help in order to achieve their aging-well goals.
It’s such a personal choice and the last thing you want is to be stuck with a friend’s or a family member’s point-of-view when it comes to such a topic. This is why I applaud DefineYourself.ca for allowing women to discuss with other women how they feel about a little Botox® or filler injections.
It would appear that I’m not the only one who agrees, the DefineYourself.ca campaigns just captured a Gold Quill Award of Excellence in the electronic communications category for its innovative campaign on women and aging, presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
I’ve shared my recent interview with two DefineYourself.ca forum participants and if you didn’t get a chance to listen to the podcasts, you can simply access them via the links below.
