In my previous post I talk about one of the major reasons that motivated men to seek the help of a cosmetic doctor. If you recall, Dr. Paul Cohen outlined the fact that men are quite concerned with how they are perceived at work and because of this reason, they tend to opt for popular procedures such as Botox Cosmetic® to soften any strong facial muscle that might make them look like they are on edge or worst constantly angry.

The conclusion of the study is particularly fascinating: “Botox® improved first impression scores for dating success, attractiveness, and athletic success scales”. Academic performance and occupational success scores were not affected by Botox® when the smile/relax variable was included. The smile/relax variable was a more important predictor for academic performance and occupational success scores.”
