This is a continuation of the great tips I shared with you yesterday. If you’ve missed it, you can still read: Skin care and makeup tips from top French beauty panel.
* Don’t try to hold on to the hair colour you had in your teens and 20s.
* If you are Caucasian and have darker hair, keep the intensity at the roots and keep the ends and the hair surrounding your face a bit lighter.
* The worst mistake Caucasian and Asian women of a certain age make is to cut their hair short and get a tight perm. The short poodle-look is simply not flattering and it’s a sure bet to looking 10-20 years older.
* If you chose to go short, make sure it’s a modern, sleek and flattering cut.
* Past the age of 50, you want to ensure that you keep everything about your hair as soft and as sensual as possible.
* As you age, brunettes should go a few shades lighter, while blondes should do the contrary and go a few shades darker.
* What ever you do and regardless of your ethnic background, do not choose to colour your hair jet black because it’s a sure-fire way to considerably age you.
