Hollywood’s trendiest and craziest crash diets to lose weight fast!

Every year in January people set New Year resolutions and not surprisingly the #1 resolution is always to lose weight.

Given how many books are on Amazon on the topic, you’d think that people would get it by now, but no! Weight gain is at an all time high in most developed countries and people seem to be medicating every aliment and discomfort they have in their lives with food.

When it comes to the battle of the bulge, Hollywood stars are struggling as much as the regular folks, but celebs will often resort to crash diets to drop the weight quickly.

There have been some crazy and wacky diets out there and a few years ago Beyonce (aka Mrs. Jay-Z) reminded us of how women were willing to compromise their health to fit in a small size when she used the magic melting power of the Master Cleanse which basically mean that she cut out food for weeks in order to lose weight for her 2006 “Dream Girls” movie role.

Cutting out food or cutting out food groups is just a bad idea and it’s so dangerous to your health. It’s easy to set your mind up to believe that it’s the way to lose weight, but in general, you will end up gaining weight the millisecond you reintroduce those foods you had cut out.

I know that most people are going to continue looking for quick and effortless miracles to losing weight when the only true successful techniques are to eat healthy, control portion by not overeating and get fit. I thought it would be quite interesting to look at some of the trendiest Hollywood diets that promise to help you drop fast instantly.

I just find these types of crash diet fades quite interesting and I thought I’d talk about them and see what readers think and I’m also quite curious to find if any of my readers have ever tried any of these Hollywood-type diets!

* Hollywood 15 Day Detox Diet: This is another type of body cleanse all packaged up in a system. It promises results in 15 days. I’ve done a full out juice fast where I only drank fruit and vegetable juice (under the supervision of my Naturopathic doctor) and I did see results after 10 days. But, these types of cleanse can only work if they offer a good quality product and also if the dieters learn how to eat properly after they cleanse. If you cleanse your body, lose 7 lbs and go back to your old fast-food-ways, it will be pointless.

* Hollywood 48hr Hour Miracle Diet: This Hollywood diet is about helping you lose 10 lbs in 48 hours via this Hollywood liquid detox diet that has sold millions.

* Hollywood Cookie Diet: This might be the craziest Hollywood diet of them all because the idea is to simply eat cookies. Yes, you replace your meals with cookies and you easily lose weight. If you cut out all other foods and only eat one food group you WILL lose weight, but for how long. If you only eat apples, or bananas, or cucumber or French pate, you will lose weight, but it’s not going to last for a long time.

* Wu-Yi Tea Hollywood’s hottest diet: This said to be a “shocking Chinese secret” that helps women lose weight and it’s even been featured on CNN and NBC. This product is marketed as the next best Chinese secret after green tea. It’s impossible to miss it because it’s been advertised everywhere for the past few months.

* Skinny Boost: This product is supposed to help burn fat in your body instead of burning calories. I don’t understand the difference, because burning calories will in the end lead to burn fat. I guess these fast-track-weight-lost energy drinks are supposed to accelerate the whole weight loss and belly fat loss process. My question is: how satisfied can one be from ingesting glasses of energy drinks for weeks on end?

* Slim Seduction: I will give big marks to this company for an original marketing campaign. They’ve turned the tables on all those pharmaceutical ads you see on American TV: “Side effects include: increased libido, decreased cellulite, less belly fat and more romance”.

* Cylapril Weight Loss: This product focuses on adrenal fatigue (aka sluggish system). It’s said to cleanse your adrenal system to boost your energy and help you burn fat fast. You’ll also end you with higher energy and you’ll be walking around with a happy disposition all the time. This might only be a corky marketing twist. Any cleansing system will automatically cleanse toxins that will not only help you lose weight, but it will automatically increase your energy level because you are getting rid of all organic poison trapped inside your body.

* Ephedra Hoodia Fusion: This is another appetite suppressant pill that claims to replace liposuction because of its ability to burn fat. Yikes, I’m not quite sure about that proposition.

* Phentrazine Slim Appetite Suppressant: Slimming-pills are still quite popular. I had no idea so many company produced them and I had no idea so many people bought them. I really thought this was an old idea about weight management, but obviously I was wrong since this is still a booming industry.

* Phendrazene: This manufacturer is so confident in their weight loss product that they are willing to give 2 month free of products. They also claim this has nothing to do with the dangerous Ephedra and that it will increase your metabolism and decrease your appetite.

* SmartDiets: This is an offer for a free personalized diet plans. I guess celebrities get personalized diet plans so this company is extended this exclusive service to the masses! The plan is supposed to be effective because it’s based on your body type, blood type, exercise habits, foot likes/dislikes, and so much more.
