Warning about choosing fish-oil base products
Along with testing Imedeen Time Perfection, I’ve also added Omega-3 capsules to my diet. As I said in yesterday’s post it has become very obvious that Omega-3 is one of the best kept secrets to aging well and like so many North Americans, I was guilty of not consuming the proper intake of Omega-3 on a daily basis.
My friend Krista had been urging me to start taking fish oil supplements because a number of studies have shown that proper intake of fish oil will help with muscle maintenance.

Madonna is going on 50, but she has the body of a 25 year old!
It’s interesting that Madonna’s new album is not making news so much because of the music and her collaborations with some of the heavy hitters such as Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, and Nate “Danja” Hills.
Nope, Madonna is making news because she’s about to turn 50 in a few months and she looks a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y incredible. I’ve recently seen her new video and it’s simply mindboggling. The entire time I kept telling myself she’s 50 years old …. she’s 50 years old … she’s 50 years old.
Madonna’s look even got my dear friend Natasha emailing me and begging me to feature her as a Celebrity Beauty Match Pick because she said the pop star was truly an inspiration to all women when it came to looking amazing as you age.

I simply love Badgley Mischka’s vintage-inspired custom jewellery collection
If you’ve been flipping the pages of Bazaar (my personal favourite fashion bible), you’ll have noticed that they have been featuring Badgley Mischka’s jewellery quite a lot in the past few issues.
The first few times, I really didn’t take note of the brand or the price tag … I just looked at the jewellery in awe. It was only in the April 2008 issue that features Demi Moore on the cover that I became fascinated with a green necklace adorned with beautiful crystals and I HAD to find out how to get it.
When I read the caption near the necklace I noticed that it was Badgley Mischka (owned by Mark Badgley and James Mischka) and I also noticed that the necklace of my dreams was only $495.

Redken products help you maintain perfect summer hair
During the summer, you’ll have to deal with high levels of humidity that will either leave your hair frizzy or flat. Everyone loves summer, but no one wants to deal with unruly hair.
I have to say that until 2007, I had not tried too many Redken products at all. I discovered their Smooth Down Butter Treat when a sales person at Trade Secrets (a hair product shop located here) revealed that it was the most moisturizing product they had in the store.
