A few weeks ago I published my interview with Robina who had been one of the participants of the DefineYourself.ca forum. It’s always fascinating to learn more about how different women define aging differently.
This week, I’ll continue my discussion on aging gracefully and the role cosmetic enhancement plays in this picture with Margaret who was also part of the first group of women to sit down and openly discuss how they felt about adding more candles to their birthday cakes.

What happened to John Travolta?
I was watching Entertainment Tonight recently during an episode where they were reviewing the “Best Summer Movies” of all time.
It’s always funny to watch footage from films or interviews where a Celebrity was just making a name for themselves in the industry. You can often see that at the beginning of any Hollywood Celebrity’s career, stylists, expert makeup artists and A-list hairdressers are not involved. When you see them in more recent footage, you can tell how polished and sleek they’ve become when it comes to presenting a crafted image to the media.
It’s normal that after 10, 20 or 30 years a celebrity would change, but what happens when you can barely recognize a celebrity from the film that made them a huge star.

Dove Hair Shine’s 2008 magazine is out!
Dove has undoubtedly become synonymous with celebrating women at every age and at every stage of their lives.
A few months ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing Shannon and Laura … two models from the 2007 edition of Dove Hair Shine magazine. I have to say that my interview with those two Shine Models was one of my favourite interviews because these women exuded life and vibrancy.
Following the huge success of the 2007 Dove Hair Shine magazine, Dove is publishing the follow-up.

Fashion and style over 35!
“Lipstick Jungle” was the event that had me talking more and more about style on Beauty Match.
Until February, I focused on basic skincare, anti-aging skincare, medical spa treatment, fitness, emotional fitness and healthy eating as means to aging-well.
It’s not that I don’t care about fashion … Italy is my favourite country in the whole wide world because I cannot get enough of Italian fashion … it’s that I had not thought of including this segment originally.

You cannot talk about beauty in your 40s without mentioning Demi Moore
It’s impossible to talk about beauty over 35 without talking about Demi Moore.
Now, I know some will say that it’s not natural, as it’s been alleged that Ms. Demi Moore (born Demetria Gene Guynes) underwent over $300,000 worth of cosmetic enhancement procedures.
I don’t really know if this has ever been confirmed or not, but this has been a rumour that’s been running rampant since Demi showed an-almost-perfect-body in the 2003 summer flick Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle movie.

Can you believe that seventies model Cheryl Tiegs is almost 60! I have to say that so many women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s are looking incredible as they age and they are certainly not let time or a few more candles on their birthday cake slow them down one bit.
