Cate Blanchett is SK-II’s new face
I had reported on the results I got from testing SK-II products a while ago when they had finally arrived in North America. I remember running to Holt Renfrew to get my hands on the products because I had read so much about them.
I’m not surprised one bit that Proctor & Gamble chose Cate Blanchett as the new face for their Japanese skincare and anti-aging brand.
SK-II is one of Asia’s most popular anti-aging products and it has been solving aging concerns of many women living in the Orient for over 25 years. SK-II was developed by a scientist who visited a Japanese sake-brewing company and noticed that the workers had youthful and soft skin. After five years of research, the scientist discovered the secret to their youthful skin was a clear liquid derived from sake during its fermentation stage. The ingredient, Pitera, has become the signature ingredient in all SK-II products.

PedEgg Professional Foot File
I decided to review this product because I found the name to be quite catchy and since dried and cracked heels are one of my biggest pet peeve, I wanted to make sure that readers had options when it comes to having smooth and sexy looking feet for my favourite season of the year: sandal season!
Now if you live in warmer climates, sandal season is much longer than it is for those of us living in a part of the world where there is easily 4 to 5 months of winter.

Heidi Klum’s new skincare line on infomercial
Heidi is here, she there … she’s EVERYWHERE!
Heidi is a beautiful woman, but if I have to hear her say “Auf Wiedersehen” (goodbye in German) one more time on Project Catwalk USA … I’ll scream.
As if there was not enough of Heidi, she’s the latest celeb to launch her line of skincare products on the telly via the magic of infomercials. I have to wonder when does the woman have time?
